A Most Violent Year (English only)

The New York winter of 1981 promises to be difficult for Abel Morales, an immigrant entrepreneur working in the competitive oil industry. As he is about to sign a major contract, problems soon arise. The assistant district attorney investigates his activities, which are allegedly tainted by fraud. Criminals steal his shipments, injuring the drivers, and his own family is even threatened. When the banks decide to withdraw from his projects, Abel must quickly find a large sum of money to preserve his future.
