After five years shipwrecked on an island in the China Sea, billionaire and socialite playboy Oliver Queen has returned to his hometown of Starling City. He continues to play his frivolous persona but at night becomes the Green Arrow, a vigilante who has taken it upon himself to clean up the city of his criminals. He is still in love with his ex-girlfriend, a lawyer, Laurel, who is also in love with his friend Tommy.
