Indochina

In Saigon, in 1930, the heiress of a colonial family runs a large rubber plantation. This woman, Éliane Devries, has her love devoted to her adopted daughter, Camille, a young Vietnamese princess whom she took in after the death of her parents. The arrival of a handsome French officer, Jean-Baptiste Le Guen, upsets the hearts of these two women.
