Life Is Beautiful

In 1938, Guido, a cheerful young man, dreams of opening a bookstore despite the harassment of the fascist administration. He falls in love with Dora, a schoolteacher stifled by family conformity and kidnaps her on the day of her engagement. A few years Later, Guido and Dora have a son, Giosué, but the racial laws have come into force and Guido is Jewish. He is deported with his son.
