The Promised Life

Sylvia, a young woman, is a prostitute in Nice. She has a painful relationship with her daughter, Laurence. Both forced to flee, they go on the run, looking for Sylvia's first husband, with whom she had a son. Their path crosses that of Joshua, a man on bail who has chosen not to return to prison.
