The Pelican Brief

In Washington, D.C., two Supreme Court justices, Rosenberg and Jensen, are assassinated by Khamel, a hitman hired by a mysterious organization. Darby Shaw, a law student from New Orleans, searches for what the two judges had in common and discovers that they opposed the drilling developed in Louisiana by Mattiece, an oil magnate.
