The Messenger

After serving his country in Iraq, American Sergeant Will Montgomery returns to America, where he is assigned a new task that he is not very excited about. Under the direction of Captain Tony Stone, Will literally becomes the messenger of death. His job: to go meet the families of fallen soldiers, and tell them the worst. Slowly, Will will discover the difficulties inherent in his new task, and will also discover his partner in a new light. Things will get complicated for them, however, when Will develops a particular attraction to one of the women he is tasked with informing of the death of her husband.
