1926. Norbert Dragonneau travels the world to list all the fantastic animals on the planet in his great bestiary. During a stopover in New York, some of the creatures he carries with him in his magic briefcase escape and sow panic through the streets of the city. Helped by the non-maj Kowalski and the witch Tina, he will try to get them all back safe and sound and prevent an obscurus from doing more damage than it has already done. Norbert will also have to confront the Magical Congress of the United States of America, which considers his practices dangerous.
