Reggie is different from the other turkeys in his clan. None of them believe him when he says that farmers fatten them up to eat them when the time comes. When Thanksgiving comes, Reggie is chosen by the President and is pardoned. Now living in the comfortable presidential mansion, he is kidnapped by a turkey named Jake who forces him to follow him in a time machine and travel to the first American Thanksgiving to convince the humans of that time not to make turkeys the main food of the holiday.
