Pride & Prejudice

The English countryside at the end of the 18th century. Mrs. Bennet and her husband are delighted to learn that a wealthy young man - and single - has just moved into the neighboring manor. Penniless, the Bennets make a point of marrying one of their five daughters to the new arrival... The latter soon falls in love with the beautiful Jane, the eldest of the family, at a country ball.
