Paul in Quebec

1999. Paul is a cartoonist. He lives with his girlfriend Lucie and their daughter in Montreal. His in-laws, the Beaulieus, form a large and happy clan with their children and grandchildren. During a family celebration, Roland, a much-loved patriarch who never forgets to remind Paul that he has not yet married his daughter, confides in him that he has incurable cancer. Paul gradually gets closer to this man, getting to know him better through moments that are as beautiful as they are painful.
