Piche: Between Heaven and Earth

Captain Robert Piché, who piloted a plane that ran out of fuel to the island of Terceira in the Azores, must confront his troubled past when the media, the day after his exploit, exposes his tumultuous past in the newspapers. Unable to face the media pressure and accept his past mistakes, Piché, considered a hero by many Quebecers, agrees to undergo therapy at a drug rehabilitation clinic. Helped by a rather diplomatic psychologist, the airline pilot manages to come to terms with his years in prison and his past setbacks in order to look to the future with wisdom and show altruism towards those who have experienced similar ordeals to his own.
